The Endoscopy Nurse Manager will assume responsibility for the coordination of clinical services for the endoscopy unit. The Nurse Manager of this innovative and state-of-the-art unit will plan, direct, implement, and manage the administrative, financial and operational responsibilities for the unit; they will also moderate the effective utilization of resources in order to achieve organizational success and meet patient care needs, while serving as a clinical resource and leader of clinical excellence for their staff. The Nurse Manager will facilitate collegial relationships between care teams and oversee the management of fiscal and material resources. S/he will join a five-manager nursing division team reporting to a seasoned Nurse Director. S/he will support, plan, implement, and evaluate the goals and policies of St. Peter’s Hospital, and demonstrate the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in leadership/management.
• Experience in Endoscopic procedures including:
o Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography with Spy Glass
o Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
o Single Balloon Enteroscopy
o High Resolution Impedance Manometry
o HALO Radiofrequency Ablation
• Creates a collegial and collaborative environment among all members of the health care team.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
• Established competency in implementing benchmarks and performance measures.
