This website is owned and operated by New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (“Association,” “we,” or “us”). Questions concerning this website or its operation should be directed to the contact points set forth at the end of these terms of use.

This is an Association communication and educational service site and not a medical service site. If you use this site you agree not transmit any private health information.  This site is intended to be used exclusively by Association members and their invited guests and if you are not a member of said group you agree not to use this site.

This website may contain hyperlinks to third party websites which are the sole responsibility of such independent third parties, and your use thereof is solely at your own risk. The Association has no control over the content or policies of such third party websites, and we are not responsible for (and under no circumstances shall be liable for) the contents, accuracy or reliability of any websites hyperlinked to this website. Those who choose to access information from this website (including any information obtained through any hyperlink) are solely responsible for the compliance of such information with any applicable law.

The Association reserves the right to in its sole discretion, to edit content provided by third parties on this website. This website is intended to disseminate information to Association members and their invited guests. They are not intended to diagnose a medical condition. The treatment of medical conditions varies according to each individual’s unique needs and doctor assessments. As with any surgery or medical procedure, the best source for information and advice is a doctor with personal contact with a patient.

This site is compliant with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, so as to limit its liability for copyright infringement. If a copyright owner of an exclusive right, or authorized agent of a copyright owner, finds infringing material, said owner or agent must send a notification of claimed infringement to the service provider’s designated agent.

Upon receipt of a compliant notification of claimed infringement, the Association will respond expeditiously to remove, or disable access to, the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of the infringing activity.

The Association controls and manages this website from its facilities in the state of New Jersey. These terms of use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey in connection with any action arising out of or related to these terms of use or their subject matter.

If any provision of these terms of use shall be deemed unlawful, then that provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining terms of use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

The Association reserves the right to disclose without notice to you any information in its possession if required to do so by law or upon a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with the law, to protect or defend our rights or property, or to respond to an emergency situation.

These terms of use represent the entire understanding relating to the use of this website and prevail over any prior or contemporaneous, conflicting or additional communications.
